This advocacy poster covers the topic of gender stereotypes being enforced onto children and how they feel insecure or shamed for wanting to step out of their “gender characteristics.” The poster illustrates what boys and girls are associated with as well as words used to describe how they should act. This poster aims to bring awareness to how children truly feel when wanting to express and do what they love, not what they’re forced to do by adults.
